Industrial Colloquium Series
The purpose of the Industrial Colloquium Series is to give you exposure to scientific and business leaders who have created successful careers incorporating some aspect of science and industry. You will hear what these people do, how they do it, how they got where they are, what you can do to get where they are, and the skills you need to succeed. In the Spring of 2004, the Industrial Colloquium Series was converted into a one credit graduate level seminar, entitled "Topics in Entrepreneurship for Scientists". This class continues to bring scientific and business leaders to students in the Program to engage and inspire, with one particular difference: the speakers discuss their experience at the intersection of science and industry with a focus on a particular aspect of entrepreneurship, such as marketing, management, or research and development. The class sessions are still open to the public, and all are welcome. For more information on this exciting class, please visit the course's homepage. The Class/Industrial Colloquium Series takes place on Wednesdays from 5:15-6:30pm in Physics and Atmospheric Sciences 224.
